The WordSprung Cornerstone Package includes everything you need to get up and running with a WordPress based blog.

Comment Related Plugins

  • Akismet – Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under “Comments.”
  • Better Comments Manager – Better Comments manager allows you to view your comments post wise, it also allows you to reply to your comments from within admin panel without you having to visit the site to respond to comments
  • Get Recent Comments – Display the most recent comments or trackbacks with your own formatting in the sidebar.
  • Official Comments – Adds functions to distinguish authorized WP user’s comments.

Form and Email Related Plugins

  • Contact Form 7 – Just another contact form plugin. Simple but flexible.
  • TDO Mini Forms – This plugin allows you to add custom posting forms to your website that allows your readers (including non-registered) to submit posts.
  • WP-Mail-SMTP – Reconfigures the wp_mail() function to use SMTP instead of mail() and creates an options page to manage the settings.

Podcasting/Vidcasting Related Plugins

  • Blubrry PowerPress – Blubrry PowerPress adds podcasting support to your blog. Features include: media player, 3rd party statistics, iTunes integration, Blubrry Services (Media Statistics and Hosting) integration and a lot more.
  • podPress – The podPress pluggin gives you everything you need in one easy plugin to use WordPress for Podcasting.

Search Engine Related Plugins

  • All in One SEO Pack – Out-of-the-box SEO for your WordPress blog.
  • Google XML Sitemaps – This plugin will generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask.com to better index your blog.

Social Media Related Plugins

  • AddToAny: Share/Bookmark/Email Button – Help readers share, bookmark, and email your posts and pages using any service.
  • Fixed Social Buttons – Let your visitors make your site popular by sharing your pages thanks to colorful and attractive social buttons.
  • Sociable – Automatically add links on your posts, pages and RSS feed to your favorite social bookmarking sites.

Twitter Related Plugins

  • TweetMeme Retweet Button – Adds a button which easily lets you retweet your blog posts.
  • TwitterCounter – Integrate TwitterCounter.com badges on your blog to display the number of followers you have on Twitter
  • Twitter Tools – A complete integration between your WordPress blog and Twitter. Bring your tweets into your blog and pass your blog posts to Twitter. Show your tweets in your sidebar, and post tweets from your WordPress admin.

Additional Plugins

  • Do Follow – Removes the nofollow attribute that WordPress adds in comments.
  • Easy AdSense – Easiest way to show AdSense and make money from your blog.
  • Executable PHP widget – Like the Text widget, but it will take PHP code as well.
  • FeedBurner FeedSmith – This plugin detects all ways to access your original WordPress feeds and redirects them to your FeedBurner feed so you can track every possible subscriber.
  • MobilePress – Turn your WordPress blog into a mobile website/blog.
  • Popularity Contest – This will enable ranking of your posts by popularity; using the behavior of your visitors to determine each post’s popularity. You set a value (or use the default value) for every post view, comment, etc. and the popularity of your posts is calculated based on those values. Once you have activated the plugin, you can configure the Popularity Values and View Reports. You can also use the included Widgets and Template Tags to display post popularity and lists of popular posts on your blog.

  • WordPress.com Stats – Tracks views, post/page views, referrers, and clicks. Requires a WordPress.com API key.
  • WordPress Database Backup – On-demand backup of your WordPress database.
  • WordPress Google Calendar – This plugin allows for the integration of a Google calendar into a WordPress blog.
  • WP-PageNavi – Adds a more advanced paging navigation to your WordPress blog.
  • WP-Polls – Adds an AJAX poll system to your WordPress blog. You can easily include a poll into your WordPress’s blog post/page.

With each new WordPress Cornerstone you will receive a one year WordPress Cornerstone Upgrade Service subscription.  With the WordPress Cornerstone Upgrade Service your blog will receive core WordPress upgrades AND upgrades to the plugins that are on the WordPress Cornerstone supported plugin list above.

If you desire to add additional plugins, customizations, etc., please let us know and we will provide an updated package price.  All customizations will be handled separately through Watershed Studio.
